MEET FIONA
A qualified Drama educator and voice actor.
Fiona McDonnell is a qualified Drama teacher, voice actor and founder of Fiona McDonnell Studios and Limerick Speech and Drama. She holds a First Class Honours Master's in Educational Leadership from the University of Limerick, a PGCE in Drama from the University of Warwick, and a BA in Drama and Theatre Studies from Trinity College Dublin. Fiona has over ten years' teaching experience, including in leading international schools in Asia, where she taught Drama and Theatre across GCSE, IGCSE, A-Level and IB curricula.
She has directed student productions, developed performance programmes and established LAMDA exam provision in an international school in Korea, where over 80% of students achieved Distinction and 100% achieved Merit or above. Alongside her teaching and workshop practice, Fiona works as a professional voice actor, providing warm, natural Irish voiceover for corporate, AI, e-learning, audiobook, podcast and narration projects.
Through Fiona McDonnell Studios, she brings together professional voice acting, Speech & Drama classes, and practical drama, teamwork and communication workshops for schools, with a focus on clear communication, creativity, performance and meaningful connection.
